Carina Chiu, Director
Carina is a commercial litigation lawyer practicing in the Vancouver office of McMillan LLP. She is enthusiastic about working with the Board to support nutrition education and skills for vulnerable residents of British Columbia within a broader holistic framework of health. Erin MacMillan, Secretary Erin is a Community Dietitian with Vancouver Coastal Health. She is passionate about the sharing of food knowledge and skills and is excited to contribute to the Society's mission. Sammi Han – Secretary Sammi is a Financial Analyst and CPA candidate. She is passionate working with the board to serve the community with health promotion and improving food security. Simar Grewal – Treasurer Bio to follow. Anne Todd, Director Anne Todd is a Registered Dietitian working in the Healthy Living/Healthy Communities program in Fraser Health. She holds a Masters of Public Health in Community Nutrition and is passionate about community food security. Amelia Gallant, Director Amelia is a Registered Dietitian with a Master's Degree in Public Health. She lives, works, and plays in beautiful Northern BC and is delighted to be on the Board to support equitable access to healthy food and food skills. Novella Lui, Director Novella Lui is a Registered Dietitian who has worked in various nutrition settings. Novella is passionate about health promotion and improving food literacy and food security in British Columbia. Through her Board involvement, she also hopes to address cultural diversity and the complex issues related to health equity. Swati Scott, Director Swati Scott is a Public Health Dietitian with Vancouver Island Health Authority. She has worked in most areas of nutrition both in the health authority as well as a private practice consultant. Lillian Yin, Director Lillian is a Registered Dietitian, and Health Promoter serving communities across the Lower Mainland. She is passionate about improving the health of populations, and promoting thriving communities. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Public Health and is honoured to serve on the Board to forward the Society's mission and vision towards a healthier community. Whitney Okeke – Director Whitney is a Finance Professional with nearly a decade of diverse experience in Finance and Accounting and currently working with Finance technology. She is excited about the opportunity to serve on the board of Nutrition Link, and is committed to contributing to the organization's mission and fostering positive change in the field of nutrition by educating others and improving access to healthy foods. Wyatt Dunlop – Director Wyatt, an engineer with a strong professional background in Healthcare, Facilities Management, and Manufacturing, is dedicated to advancing community health. By seamlessly integrating exercise and healthy habits into daily life, he offers a unique perspective to NutritionLink Services Society. Focusing on exercise, sports fitness, and nutrition psychology, Wyatt aims to empower individuals through education and collaborative initiatives, ensuring accessible and equitable resources. |
