How EcoCooks Club is Helping Kids Discover the Joy of Cooking and Sustainable Eating
EcoCooks Club empowers Metro Vancouver youth and families through hands-on cooking workshops, teaching food literacy, plant-forward meals, and sustainable eating while fostering confidence, skills, and community connection.
The W.E. Graham Community Service Society’s Intergenerational Cooking program a 2022–2023 grant recipient brought together 72 participants of all ages to share the joy of cooking, improve food skills, and strengthen community bonds through eight engaging, hands-on classes.
Food for Life, 2024 Nutrition Link Services Society grant recipient in Cranbrook, BC, empowered over 200 youth with hands-on cooking, nutrition, and life skills to build confidence and lifelong healthy habits.
